Implementations & Support — Sphere

Your business has outgrown its systems. Now what?

It rarely starts with a big decision. It starts with spreadsheets. Then duplicate data. Then teams working from different versions of the truth. We’ve seen this story hundreds of times — and we know how to write a better ending.

The pattern we see most

The moment companies call us

Most companies don’t wake up and decide to implement a new platform. The decision builds slowly — quietly eroding productivity, delaying decisions, and frustrating the people who have to work around broken systems every day.

Then something shifts. A board meeting where leadership realizes they can’t answer basic questions. A quarter where finance close takes three weeks. A sales team that stops trusting CRM data. An AI initiative that stalls because the data foundation isn’t ready.

That’s when the conversation begins. Whether you need to implement NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Anthropic-powered AI solutions, or integrate multiple platforms together — the stakes are high.

The right implementation can accelerate growth. The wrong one can cost millions in delays, lost productivity, and failed adoption. For 21 years, Sphere has been the partner companies trust to get it right — the first time.

Every successful implementation starts with a trigger

Our clients come to us after one of these moments. Which one describes where you are today?

Growth is creating chaos

The business doubled. Processes didn’t. Teams now spend more time managing data than using it — and the cracks are starting to show.

Systems don’t talk to each other

Sales uses one platform. Finance uses another. Operations uses spreadsheets. Nobody trusts the numbers — and reconciliation is a full-time job.

Leadership needs better visibility

Executives want real-time insights to make confident decisions. Instead, they wait days or weeks for reports that are already out of date.

AI initiatives are stalled

The organization wants AI. The data foundation isn’t ready. Systems are fragmented. Governance is unclear. The pilots never move to production.

Legacy platforms are holding you back

The technology worked years ago. Now every change feels expensive, slow, and risky — and the opportunity cost is compounding every quarter.

A failed implementation left you exposed

A previous partner over-promised and under-delivered. Adoption is low. Data is messy. You need a team that can rescue the situation and restore confidence.

The Sphere implementation story

Five phases that turn complexity into confidence — and deployment into adoption.

1

Discover before we build

Most implementation failures happen long before implementation starts. Requirements are unclear. Processes aren’t documented. Stakeholders aren’t aligned. Integration complexity is underestimated. We begin by understanding your business goals, data architecture, user workflows, reporting needs, and growth plans. This creates a roadmap that aligns technology with real outcomes — not assumptions.

2

Design for adoption, not just deployment

Technology only creates value when people use it. That’s why we focus on user experience, change management, training, executive visibility, and governance from day one — not as an afterthought after launch. Our goal isn’t to deploy software. Our goal is to help your people work better.

3

Build and integrate with precision

Sphere delivers across ERP, CRM, data, AI, and workflow platforms — and critically, across the integrations that connect them. Our engineers bring hands-on expertise in NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Anthropic-powered AI, and the custom APIs and legacy modernization that enterprise environments always require.

4

Go live with confidence, not anxiety

Go-live should not feel like jumping off a cliff. Sphere provides data migration support, user training, cutover planning, risk mitigation, testing and validation, and hypercare support. We remain engaged through the entire critical transition period — because that’s when the stakes are highest.

5

Then we stay

Most implementation partners disappear after launch. That’s usually when the real work begins. Business requirements evolve. Users need support. Integrations require monitoring. AI models require governance. Platforms require optimization. Sphere provides ongoing managed services to ensure your technology investment keeps delivering value — long after implementation day.

What our clients say

Sphere didn’t just implement NetSuite — they redesigned the workflows around it. Finance close went from 18 days to 6. That’s the kind of ROI that changes conversations at the board level.

CFO · Mid-Market Manufacturing Company

We’d had two failed Salesforce implementations before Sphere. They came in, diagnosed the adoption problem immediately, and within 90 days our sales team was actually using the CRM. Pipeline accuracy went from a guess to something we could bank on.

VP Revenue Operations · $200M SaaS Business

Our AI initiative had been stuck for eight months — data silos, governance gaps, the usual. Sphere built the foundation we needed and deployed our first production AI model in 20 days. We haven’t looked back.

CTO · Financial Services Organization
Why Sphere

We don’t specialize in platforms. We specialize in business transformation.

Most implementation partners are single-platform experts. They know the technology but not the business context that surrounds it — and that’s often where implementations fail.

Sphere combines expertise across applications, data, AI, automation, cloud, and integrations. This allows us to solve business problems holistically rather than creating new silos or handing off between specialists who don’t talk to each other.

For 21 years, we’ve helped organizations modernize systems while reducing risk and accelerating time to value. Not because we follow a methodology — but because we’ve seen enough to know what works, what doesn’t, and when to adapt.

Frequently asked questions

A standard NetSuite implementation for a mid-market company typically runs 3–6 months. Complex multi-subsidiary, multi-currency, or heavily integrated environments can take 6–12 months. What matters more than timeline is having a well-scoped discovery phase — organizations that skip discovery typically spend the same time (or more) in post-go-live remediation. Sphere always begins with a fixed-fee readiness assessment to right-size scope and timeline before committing to a build.
The right ERP depends on company size, industry complexity, and where you’re heading. SAP S/4HANA is the choice for large, complex enterprises — particularly in manufacturing, life sciences, and regulated industries where deep process configurability, multi-entity consolidation, and supply chain sophistication matter. SAP Business One fits mid-market companies in those same verticals that want SAP’s process rigor without enterprise-scale cost. NetSuite is the leading cloud-native option for high-growth mid-market companies, particularly in professional services, SaaS, and ecommerce. Microsoft Dynamics 365 excels when deep Microsoft 365, Teams, and Power Platform integration is a priority. Sphere’s ERP advisory process maps your operational complexity, industry requirements, and growth trajectory against all three before recommending a platform — we’re not incentivized to sell you any one system.
The three most common failure modes are: (1) data quality — migrating dirty data into a clean system that it immediately contaminates; (2) adoption — a perfectly configured CRM that sales reps don’t actually use; and (3) over-customization — building so many bespoke workflows that upgrades become impossible. Sphere addresses all three explicitly: data readiness is assessed before migration, adoption programs run parallel to technical delivery, and we establish governance guardrails to keep the platform maintainable long-term.
The right signal is usually when query performance, data volume, or multi-team data access is causing friction — or when AI and ML workloads are planned and the existing data infrastructure won’t support them. Snowflake is generally the right choice for analytics-first organizations focused on structured data and SQL teams. Databricks excels when you need unified analytics and ML engineering on large-scale, semi-structured data. We help clients choose the right platform and design the migration path before writing a line of code.
AI readiness is fundamentally a data and governance problem before it’s a technology problem. Most organizations that struggle with AI aren’t choosing the wrong models — they’re feeding those models fragmented, ungoverned, or untrustworthy data. Sphere’s AI readiness assessment evaluates your data architecture, integration landscape, governance frameworks, and organizational readiness, then produces a sequenced roadmap that gets AI initiatives to production rather than permanent pilot status.
Integration costs vary significantly based on the number of systems, data volumes, transformation complexity, and real-time vs. batch requirements. Point-to-point integrations between two well-documented systems might run $25K–$75K. Enterprise integration platforms connecting ERP, CRM, data warehouse, and ecommerce environments typically range from $150K–$500K+ depending on scope. The bigger risk isn’t the integration cost — it’s underestimating scope during the sales process. Sphere offers fixed-fee integration assessments that scope projects accurately before you commit to a build budget.
At minimum: hypercare support for 30–60 days after go-live, which should include dedicated response SLAs, monitoring of integrations and data pipelines, and proactive user support. Beyond hypercare, you should expect your partner to provide ongoing administration, enhancement delivery, optimization reviews, and proactive recommendations as the platform and your business evolve. Most partners offer this as a managed services retainer. Sphere structures support engagements around business outcomes — not just ticket volume.
Premier Tier is AWS’s highest partner designation, reflecting deep technical certification, a verified track record of successful customer migrations, and direct access to AWS engineering and funding programs. Practically, that means your project gets certified AWS architects, access to AWS migration and modernization funding where eligible, and a partner AWS itself vouches for. We use this status to accelerate Well-Architected reviews, de-risk migrations, and in many cases reduce total cloud spend through proper FinOps governance from day one.
It depends on your current environment, but the real question usually isn’t "AWS or not" — it’s how much of your stack needs to move. Many clients keep core systems where they are and adopt AWS selectively for AI/ML workloads (Bedrock, SageMaker), data lakes (Glue, Lake Formation), or specific high-scale services, rather than a full lift-and-shift. Others are better served by a complete modernization. Our AWS readiness assessment maps your current architecture against the AWS Well-Architected Framework and gives you a phased recommendation — not a one-size-fits-all migration plan.
